Indian Relic Museum
Open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Closed December 22, 23, 24 & 25 for the holidays
Groups please contact Cheaha.event@dcnr.alabama.gov for different hours we will accommodate you if possible.
The collection contains hundreds of pieces including arrowheads, stone tools and musical instruments.
The Indian relic museum is available for tours by park guests, home school groups, school field trips and other special tours. Museum hour’s tours must be booked ahead of time for weekdays. The entrance fee is $2 per person, with no charge for children age 6 and under. Cheaha is currently in need of volunteers to help staff the museum. Civilian Conservation Corps Museum opening soon. - Location of this museum will be in Bunker Tower. Alabama's Highest Point.

Company 2420C SP-7 that replaced 468. Company 2420C SP-7 Composed of African-American veterans of WWI These men continued work at the park by completing the dam and filling Cheaha Lake, putting final touches on the lodge, topping out Bunker Tower, landscaping the 2, 799 acres with thousands of trees and shrubs.
