Wildflower Lecture & Slideshow with Jay Clark

One of the most enchanted habitats in the southeast is the-"The Pocket", located in the Crockford Pigeon Mountain WMA in W Georgia. Formally called the Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail, the area is a must-see for wildflowers any time of year, and also for the scenic beauty year-around.
Get to know the flowers of the Pocket with a wildflower lecture and slideshow presented by Jay Clark, author of ‘Wildflowers of Pigeon Mountain’.
About Jay: An accomplished academic, Jay currently works with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in tracking protected plants of northwest Georgia. He also volunteers as a botanical guardian for the Georgia Plant Conservation Alliance, planting and monitoring the reintroduction of endangered plants to existing sites. Jay and his wife live near Pigeon Mountain in LaFayette, Georgia.
