The Gulf State Park Picnic Area includes the swimming area in Lake Shelby and two covered pavilions. The pavilions may be rented for family and group outings, reunions and birthday parties. Rental is available 7 days a week except major holiday weekends. The cost is $50.00 to rent a pavilion. The entrance fee is also required for each person.
Hours of operation for the Picnic Area
are from 7 a.m. - sunset year around.
Pets are not allowed in any day use area of Gulf State Park, including parking areas.
