The Lodge, hotel complex and dining room at
Lake Guntersville Resort State Park is now open!
We have been undergoing a massive $25 Million Renovation during the last several years. The 112-Hotels and Suites and main Lodge structure were gutted, leaving the infrastructure and integrity of the original property in tact. The Lodge's large stone fireplaces were left standing and really influenced the new design that incorporates a lot more stone as well as a feeling of the wooded outdoors being brought indoors.
Public anticipation of when this project would be complete was overwhelming. It goes to show how loved this park is by thousands who are used to vacationing in this paradise of nature. While the lakeside cabins and chalets, campground, and golf course remained open during renovations, it is evident that the hotel rooms, convention center and more so, the restaurant, are an integral part of what makes Lake Guntersville tick. We are delighted to be open and stand ready to greet visitors once again through the portal and halls of Lake Guntersville Resort State Park and Lodge. We can't wait to see you!
