LAKEPOINT RESORT STATE PARK
FISHING & FISHING TOURNAMENTS

Lakepoint State Park's picturesque 1,220 acre park is located on the banks of 45,000 acre Lake Eufaula.  Most anglers south of the Mason-Dixon Line think of Lake Eufaula when they hear the phrase “Bass Fishing Capital of the World.”

For more detailed information on fish in Lake Eufaula visit:
http://www.outdooralabama.com/fishing/freshwater/where/reservoirs/eufaula/

Lakepoint Park Ramp Boat Launch Fee is $ 3.00 per day.

It is easy to see why Lakepoint State Park hosts fishing tournaments nearly every weekend.  The park also has catch-and-release facilities available for tournament organizations to reserve.  Tournaments begin in February and go on every weekend and some go on during the weekdays all the way through the fall.

There is no other excitement than watching those Anglers bring in Big Fish.

The next time you want to plan a Fishing Tournament, just call us.  We have all the accommodations it takes to satisfy your needs.  Contact the sales office to reserve your Tournament date now. 1-800-544-5352.  On arrival for check-in, don't forget to ask for your boat pass.  This will allow you to launch your boat with out paying the fee, as long as you're staying in the Rooms, Cabins, or Cottages.

Lake Eufaula is a 45,181-acre reservoir located on the Chattahoochee River along the border of Alabama and Georgia.  This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir stretches from Phenix City, Alabama to the Walter F. George Dam at Ft. Gaines, Georgia.  Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge, an 11,160-acre refuge on the edge of Lake Eufaula, provides excellent opportunities for public boating, fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing.  Numerous public access areas, marinas, campgrounds, and parks are available to facilitate boating, fishing, picnicking, and other outdoor activities, including Lakepoint State Park.
