Paul M. Grist State Park is hosting their first “Hay Ride in the Park”.
The hay ride will be the weekend of the Saturday October 29, and Sunday October 30. The first ride will start at 10:00 a.m., second ride at 1:00 p.m., and third ride at 4:00 p.m. for day users. There will be a later ride around 7:00 p.m. for campers that are camping at the Paul Grist State Park.
We are also allowing trunk or treat for those who would like to decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy to the kids on the ride.
There will be a contest on the best decorated trunk, first place will get two free nights camping here at the park, second place will get flat bottom boat rental for the day and third place will get one hour pedal boat rental.
The hay ride will be free, and the park admission will still be charged to all day users.

Starting on October 24 – 28 anyone that has any extra decorations and would like to come down and decorate the park, may do so October 24- 28. Any decoration will be welcome as long as they are removable. Everybody will be responsible for their own decorations. Please contact us at 334-872-5846 for hours to decorate.
