State Parks Courses to Host Junior Golf Clinics!

 

                   The Alabama State Parks will host a series of Junior Golf Development Clinics this summer at each of the six courses.  Information along with the registration and waiver forms will soon be available at the golf courses as well as high schools located within close proximity of the parks.  However, anyone can attend regardless if they live near a park or not, as long as they have transportation readily available.

 

                   The registration fee is $50 for the three day clinic, and you can register up to two weeks prior to the clinic.  The clinics will be limited to 50 individuals and will be for ages 12 thru 18.  Plans are to divide the participants into two groups, ages 12 thru 15, and ages 16 thru 18.  Qualified instructors will be on hand for two days of golf development instructions, with the third day set aside for a round of golf with lunch and a certificate presentation for those that complete the full clinic.  In the event weather becomes a factor, there will be an abreviated schedule to allow the clinic to be completed the same week it begins.
