Why drive North to see the colors, when they are right here in DeSoto State Park atop Lookout Mountain!

Come and enjoy the Autumn season with us as the Summer ends and the Fall begins. Historically Fall color peak is about the 3rd weekend of October into November, be sure to make your reservations for our motel rooms, Log or Rustic cabins, Chalets, & Campsites well in advance.

Scenic Lookout Mountain Parkway winds it's way atop Lookout Mountain

Moderate (30-50% change)
As much as half the vegetation has changed color. In the earlier changing trees, the colors are bright. Late-changing trees remain primarily green.
