Pack a lunch & head on over to DeSoto State Park located on beautiful Lookout Mountain!

Enjoy staying the night in one of DeSoto State Park's Cabins! DeSoto's campground is located in a wooded setting. View from the Back Deck

Happening during the course of the day:

DeSoto State Park Campground “Open House”

If you haven’t seen the improvements made to the DeSoto State Park Campground now’s your chance.  The gates will be open from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  Please observe the 15 mph speed limit and watch for children playing.  Information on the campground and reservations can be made at the Country Store.

 

DeSoto State Park Lodge "Open House"

One of our Log Cabins and some Motel rooms will be opened to the public, with information packets available.  

 In the Lodge Lobby refreshments will be available to visitors. Guests can also register for a DeSoto State park t-shirt & a free night in a motel room & free breakfast for 2 the next morning. 

 

DeSoto State Park's Mountain Inn Restaurant

If you didn't pack a lunch, be sure to head over the DeSoto's Mountain Inn Restaurant for their lunch specials – coffee, iced tea and punch will be free during lunch.

 

Be sure to check out the local sites such as Howard's Chapel, DeSoto Falls, Little River Canyon, & much more.
