Paul M. Grist State Park is hosting their first "Hay Ride in the Park"

Come out and join us at Paul Grist State Park for a fun filled weekend on Saturday, November 2nd, and Sunday, November 3rd, 2013.  The hay rides will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.  There will be a ramp going into the trailer so wheel chairs are welcome.  The hay ride is free and park admission will be charged for all day users: 5 and under are free; 6 to 12 $1.00; 13 to 61 $2.00; and 62 and over $1.00.  There will also be a ride at 7:00 p.m. for campers staying overnight in the park.

We are also allowing trunk or treat for those who would like to decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy to the kids.  There will be a contest on the best decorated trunk, first place will get two free nights camping here at the park, second place will get flat bottom boat rental for the day, and third place will get one hour pedal boat rental.

Decorating started October 24th and will run through October 28th for anyone that has any extra decorations and would like to come down and help decorate the park!  Any decorations are welcome as long as they are removable, and everyone is responsible for their own decorations!  Please contact us at the park for decorating hours (334) 872-5846, or reservation assistance.  We hope you will bring your family and join us for two days of fun at Paul M. Grist State Park!
