Lake Guntersville State Park Main Campground

Situated within the pine studded woodlands and adjacent to the reservoir shoreline are 321 improved campsites blending with the serenity of nature. Ranging from the primitive to the modern, complete with utilities, the sites vary to suit nearly every taste. Various campground conveniences include utility connections, tables, grills, bathhouses, hot showers, a country store, and play areas.
Located in the campground is a Nature Center with various specimens of natural resources from the park (make arrangements with staff at Country Store).
Sunbathers and water enthusiasts will enjoy the beach complex with Beach Pavilion adjacent to the campground.

Reservations for holiday weekends should be made at least 2 months in advance.
CAMPGROUND REGULATIONS
- Only one camping unit per site, “doubling up” is not allowed.
- Maximum occupancy per site: 8 persons, 2 motor vehicles.
- Occupancy limited to 14 days: April 1 through October 31.
- Pets must be kept on a leash. They are not allowed on the beaches or in buildings (except seeing eye dogs).
- Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- No open fires are permitted, except in the grills provided at each campsite, or in areas specifically designated by Park Manager.
- VISITORS: A $1 or $2 per car visitor fee may be charged to anyone wishing to visit in the campground and are not registered to a campsite. (No visitors will be allowed to enter campgrounds after sunset.)
- Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Mother Deer are prone to drop their new borns in a wooded area and stay close by until the fawns are ready to walk. Should you come upon a fawn that looks abandoned, please do not move it from its location and separate it from its mother.
TOWN CREEK FISHING CENTER CAMPGROUND
Town Creek Fishing Center is located on Guntersville Lake near the mouth of Town Creek on Alabama Hwy 227. Improved and primitive camp sites are available.
