 The Eagle's Nest Golf Course at Lake Guntersville State Park is your premiere golf destination! Our golf course underwent some major renovations during 2009 and now features Dwarf Bermuda Tiff greens as well as a state-of-the-art irrigation system. The renovation and redesign of the golf course was done in cooperation and guidance of pro golfer Jerry Pate.

Unique on its own, the golf course at Lake Guntersville State Park is located on top of Taylor Mountain, adjacent to the Lodge & Convention Center, and offers golfers majestic mountain scenery. Elevation changes throughout the course make each hole an exciting challenge. The fairways are wide and provide tree-lined variants for added challenging holes. The scenic rolling hills combined with the occasional stroll of a deer across the fairways makes this course unique and a must-play on any golfers list.

Amenities to the course include a snack and beverage shop located inside the pro shop. Accessories and souvenirs are also available in the pro shop. We have a full-service driving range and a practice putting green.

Make plans to visit the park and play our 18-hole championship course situated high atop Taylor Mountain in Lake Guntersville State Park. Our staff is ready to assist you in making plans and set tee times for a day on the course.
