  LAKE EUFAULA FISHING REPORT

SURFACE TEMPERATURE: 70-73
LAKE LEVEL: 186.45
FULL POOL:  190.00
WATER CONDITIONS: Clear

BASS---Fair---Shallow water bite at first light.  Frogs and trick worms fished in and around grass lines have been a winner.  After sun rises the action is over.  Change to texas rigged or carolina rigged worms.  Colors working best are black with red flake, june bug, green pumpkin, watermelon cottoncandy.  Grass lines near deep water are best producers.

CRAPPIE--Fair--These fish are located in water 8-15ft deep. Use your electronics to locate schools.  Use minnows and jigs to catch once located.

HYBRIDS--Fair--Finding these fish is the biggest problem.  Watch for diving birds or cruise the flats and use your electronics to locate.  Lipless crankbaits, spoons, jigs or live shad will work best.

CATFISH--Good--Fish are moving to flats to spawn. Fish on or near bottom with worms, cut bait or blood bait.

BREAM--Good--Fish in and around grassy areas or other aquatic growth.  Crickets or worms taking fish best.

This report comes to you from the Lake Eufaula Guide Service.
