Lake Guntersville State Park is very honored to have been chosen by The Lion's Club to build The Lion's Legacy Project - outdoor classroom in the campground. Since October of 2016 members of The Lion's Club have been busy building, designing, and completing phase 1 of the classroom, stage, community fire pit, and lion-eagle-fish statue. The ribbon cutting, held on May 4th,  2017 was joined by the Mayor Leigh Dollar of the City of Guntersville, The Boy scouts of America, staff from the state park, and many alumni of The Lion's Club locally, as well a nationally. Thank you again to The Lion's Club for everything that you do.
