The Alabama Bass Trail will conduct three of their tournaments at State Parks in 2014. The first tournament of the series will be hosted by Lake Guntersville State Park on February 1.

The park is offering an overnight package that provides great exposure to the tournament and special events.

Some of our rates are all inclusive to the park’s amenities, and others are split out. A good example is that an overnight guest staying in a cabin might be provided access to the swimming pool at no additional cost, even though the swimming pool is located within the gated area of the campground in another area of the park. As a visitor to the Alabama State Park system, we would like to know if you would prefer:
1. All inclusive pricing (one fee providing access for all the park’s non-exclusive amenities)
2. Fee structures which break out costs for the individual amenities?

75th Anniversary
Diamond Treasure Geocaching Challenge
The Alabama State Parks has designed a geocaching challenge to help celebrate our 75th Anniversary this year. We hope this challenge will add another level of excitement to an already popular past time among our park “partners.” The 75th Anniversary Diamond Treasure Geocaching Challenge includes eight State Parks. These coordinates inside the Parks will be announced on March 1. Each cache will provide a clue and after the cachers visit all eight Parks they will combine the clues to determine where the final cache is located. Click here for more information.
