Oak Mountain Hosts First ShrimpFest Event
Football legend and restaurateur Bob Baumhower is teaming up with the Alabama State Parks system on a six-event series called Baumhower’s ShrimpFest and Barbecue, taking place at five state parks over the course of the next year. The events will be part of the celebration marking the 75th anniversary of the Alabama State Parks system. Visit Oak Mountain State Park for the first stop in a series of events to raise awareness for two great resources: Alabama State Parks and Alabama Gulf Seafood.
Join us at 3 p.m.-until at the beach area inside the park for fresh boiled Alabama Gulf Coast shrimp, barbecue, live music, and kid’s inflatables. Meet some former Auburn and Alabama football players, and have some pre-game tailgate fun with us!  Click here for information on the other locations in the series.
