If you are wanting to have an event here at Oak Mountain State Park (ie. bike race, triathlon, trail run) you need to fill out an event application and return it along with a race map to the Events Coordinator at least 4 weeks in advance. Fee waivers must be requested 2 weeks in advance. Events may be booked up to a year in advance and it is recommended that as soon as you know your date, send in the events application for approval. The race map must be approved by a Ranger before the event will be approved.
Turn in the Events Application, Release & Indemnity Form, Fee Waiver Application, and No Fee Use Agreement either in person at the Park Office, by fax at 205-620-2531 (Attn: Events Coordinator) or by mailing to Events Coordinator, 200 Terrace Drive, Pelham, AL 35124.
