Arbor Day Champion Tree Hike

Join us April 30th at 10 AM for an Arbor Day Hike through our Champion Tree Trail! Visit three of Joe Wheeler State Park's Champion Trees: September Elm, Bitternut Hickory, & Chinkapin Oak. The Champion Trail is approximately 0.9 miles. Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing & shoes. Hikers will meet in the west portion of the Lodge parking lot, near the trail head.
