Campfire Talk: Telescope Techniques 101

It is easy to look up at the stars and become enwrapped in awe and wonder. With a telescope, you can gaze even closer at the heavens. Learn the basic parts of a telescope and how to use this amazing equipment to view astronomical objects. Use your new knowledge to view craters on the Moon, Jupiter and its largest moons, Saturn with its rings, and much more. Join Dr. Laura Weinkauf with the Department of Chemistry and Geosciences at Jacksonville State University to learn more about the intricate world of telescopes.
