Park Memories

In October 2009, we decided to take a vacation to see the leaves in the Smokies.  The weather was terrible that weekend and although we got a few pictures, it wasn't the photography trip we were hoping for.  On the way home, we remembered how beautiful DeSoto State Park is and decided to make a detour there.  We were rewarded with beautiful sites and many wonderful photographs.  Who needs to leave the state when there is so much in Alabama to see?  We have been to many Alabama state parks, many times, and know it is a lovely state with a rich diversity of life.  There's "no place like home" in Alabama.
