Governor Riley Extends Deadline For Commercial Seafood Licenses

The grace period for renewing commercial seafood licenses has been extended, according to an announcement today by Governor Bob Riley and the Marine Resources Division of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Holders of commercial seafood licenses, which normally expire on September 30 each year, will be allowed an extra month to renew, due to the hardships caused by Hurricane Ivan. The extended deadline is October 31, 2004.
