The opportunity for Alabama citizens to see and discuss the State Parks Renovation Program master plan will take place in four separate public meetings in November. The meetings will be informal, with displays of budgets and information about projects for all of Alabama’s 24 state parks. Those who will be available at each of these meetings to answer questions and receive comments are Conservation Commissioner M. Barnett Lawley, Operations Director Rick Liles, State Parks Division Director Mark Easterwood, Engineering Section Chief Terry Boyd, parks superintendents, and their staff.

“These meetings will allow people interested in the renovation plans for Alabama’s state parks to see what is planned for each of the parks,” said M. Barnett Lawley, Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources. “They will have the opportunity to ask questions of us, and to make comments about the plans.”
