Nature-based recreation is an increasingly popular pastime among families. Yet, many women encounter barriers to the outdoors. Outdoor skill workshops have been successful in helping ladies overcome these barriers. The “ALL Outdoors” program is more than just an outdoor skills event. It is a workshop that offers ladies opportunities to share different learning strategies, to celebrate with friends, to experience the joys of everyone’s accomplishments, and to meet new friends.
The three-day “ALL Outdoors” workshop offers hands-on instruction in a fun and non-threatening learning environment. Participants choose from over a dozen courses such as Reading the Woods,
