Public Meeting Regarding Bass in Inland Lake on May 29-Discussion to Include Largemouth, Spotted, and Striped Bass Population Management

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division (WFF) will host a public meeting to discuss largemouth, spotted and striped bass population management in Inland Lake on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 7 p.m. The location of the meeting will be in the Frank J. Green Building at 415 Fifth Avenue East in Oneonta, Alabama.
Results to date of a current study of striped bass in Smith Lake by the Auburn University Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures will be presented along with the results of the 2008 standardized sampling by WFF of largemouth and spotted bass in Inland Lake.
Comments from the public are welcomed following the presentations.
