Press ReleaseConservation Department Launches “Hunt Outdoor Alabama” CampaignAugust 23, 2004 The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is launching an exciting new mentoring campaign – “Hunt Outdoor Alabama – Share the Wonder.” Designed to involve current hunters, the program will open the doors of opportunity to future hunters of all ages. Resident Alabama hunters may sign up to indicate their willingness and intention to mentor a specific person this hunting season. This project is supported by the 2004 Hunting Heritage Partnership, a grant program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. Administered by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Hunt Outdoor Alabama Campaign is also supported by numerous hunting organizations. It takes a hunter to make a hunter.
