Press ReleaseMorgan’s Cove Boat Ramp, Dock and Fishing Piers to Be ClosedMay 27, 2009 Beginning Monday, June 1, the boat ramp, dock and fishing piers at Morgan’s Cove in Marshall County will be closed. It has been determined that the dock and piers, which are part of Buck’s Pocket State Park, cannot be safely used by the public. They will be demolished as soon as arrangements can be made for funding to do so. After demolition, the boat ramp will open back up to the public.
In the interim, alternate boat ramps are available. The South Sauty Creek boat ramp provides free access on County Road 67. Also located on County Road 67 is access from the South Sauty Resort, which charges a $2 launch fee. ###
