State Representatives Frank McDaniel and Jeff McLaughlin will present Lake Guntersville State Park with a General Fund Services Grant for law enforcement technology improvements on October 13, at 2 p.m., in front of the Guntersville State Park Lodge.
 
The $4,500 grant is being made available to purchase eCitation (electronic citation) equipment for Marshall County State Park Rangers. The eCitation equipment will allow the park rangers to perform their duties more efficiently and quickly, allowing them to return to their main responsibilities of running the park.
 
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama’s natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Parks, State Lands, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
