Taylor Allison has lived in every small town in Northeast Alabama at one point or another, but has always called the woods home. Her interest in recycling and keeping waste out of landfills led her to pursue blacksmithing using found and discarded steel. Mostly self taught, she has been pursuing metal crafting for two years. Taylor’s education in metalwork includes a welding workshop at Sloss Furnace in Birmingham and a blacksmithing intensive course at Goat N Hammer Forge in Atlanta taught by Forged In Fire champions Mark J. Hopper and Jessica Collins. Follow her journey on Instagram at taylorblakeblacksmithing.
