Paddle a scenic flat-water section above DeSoto Falls in Dekalb County, Alabama
Start at the DeSoto Falls Picnic area, paddle a total of 2 miles upriver and return (roughly 4 miles total, if paddled the entire route) 

Picnic area is 7 miles from the main park area of DeSoto State Park
Perfect for individuals or groups!

The Boat Shack at Desoto Fall is now closed for season, but you can call and request a boat anytime!

**The Boat Shack will be open October 20, 2018 10:00-4:00**

Single-person 'Sit on Top' Kayak:$30 3-hour rental

Canoes: $45 3-hour rental


*Exception: Parents with young children or senior citizen can purchase a 1 hour boat rental. $15 kayak $20 canoe
