Take a Hike: Salamander Stroll
Alabama is one of the best places for salamanders on the planet! Salamanders love cool, clean water, and Cheaha’s spring-fed creeks and streams create habitat for them all over the park. Join Park Naturalist Mandy Pearson to learn more about salamanders up close and personal. Wear clothes and closed-toe shoes that are adventure-ready.

We are committed to providing programs that are educational, fun, and safe. Family units will be spaced out from other family units. We will provide hand sanitizer stations.
