World Wildlife Conservation Day is on December 4th, and we’re so excited to spread awareness about preserving Earth’s endangered flora and fauna. Join Park Naturalist Sam Woodroof on the first ever conservation hike through our Champion Trail! Learn the difference between vulnerable, endangered, and critically endangered species, discover interesting facts about certain endangered species, and test your knowledge with 9 conservation quiz questions!

Meet at the Champion Trail head at 12:00 pm (Trail head begins near the end of the Lodge parking lot). The hike is a 1-mile interpretive hike with 9 stops along the way to test your conservation knowledge!
