PUBLIC NOTICE – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Oak Mountain State Park is seeking parties interested in providing goods or services to park guests under a concession agreement. These contracts cannot gross over $100,000 annually. The term of the agreement will be one year with a right by DCNR/State Parks, at its sole discretion, to renew said agreement for the following year with a letter to the concessionaire.
The successful vendor will be required to operate seven (7) days a week from March 1st 2019 through February 28th 2020, and could be required to schedule their operating hours based upon park occupancy, special events and holidays, and weather.
HORSE STABLE BOARDING- Vendor will operate at the equestrian stable area and
will provide rental stalls for horse boarding. Boarding services will include feeding, watering, stall cleaning, and maintenance of facility. Vendor will be required to pay a percentage of their monthly gross revenue. One (1) vendor will be selected based upon the proposal which pay DCNR/State Parks the highest percentage.
PROPOSALS FOR OTHER CONCESSION GOODS OR SERVICES will be considered.
INTERESTED PARTIES MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 26th, 2019:
The legal/corporate name of the company (n/a if operating as a sole proprietor)
The "doing business as (d/b/a)" name if corporate and different from the above
Name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number(s) of owner
Description of products and/or services
Percentage of monthly gross revenue to be paid to park
Proposed beginning date of agreement
Successful vendor(s) will be required to enter into a concession agreement (contract) with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, State Parks Division after being informed of selection. Concessionaires must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations (including county health regulations if applicable) and must provide documentation of approvals and licenses. Concessionaires must also present proof of liability insurance, specifically naming DCNR as an insured, for an amount no less than $100,000.
All proposals must be received no later than 5pm on February 26, 2019.
