B.B. Comer Boat Ramp at Lake Guntersville Closing for Repairs

July 08, 2009

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division will be closing its public boat ramp at B.B. Comer Bridge (Hwy. 35) on Lake Guntersville in Jackson County from Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30 for renovations. The ramp will be re-opened on the morning of Friday, July 31.

The closure is necessary in order to make repairs to the ramp and parking area prior to repaving the parking lot. The parking area is scheduled for re-paving during September.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama’s natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Lands, State Parks, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
