Virtual Naturalist Programs During COVID-19 Social Distancing
During this time of social distancing, our goal at Alabama State Parks is to continue providing you and your families with fun, educational, and inspiring programs! We may not be able to gather together in groups, but we will be using technology to bring the fun to you and present creative things you can do outdoors!
Bucks Pocket State Park Re-Opens campground and introduces ORV Trail
We are excited to announce that on June 16th Buck's Pocket State Park will reopen its campground and introduce a brand new ORV(Off-Road Vehicles) trail. This will be a culmination of over 2 years of planning, development and dedication. We think these new amenities will create a family-friendly destination for campers, off-road enthusiasts and vacationers.
New Online Campground Reservation System
We are excited to announce that the new online camping reservation system is now live. Feel free to make your reservations by using the new online tool, calling the park office or simply walking in. We encourage advance reservations.

Alabama State Parks Car and Boat Tag
You now have an option of purchasing an Alabama State Parks car tag and boat registration. The renewal process remains the same; simply request an Alabama State Parks car or boat tag during the renewal procedure and 80% of your money will go directly to help fund the Alabama State Parks.
