Race to the Cave Half Marathon
Our yearly half-marathon and 10K runs are held in March. The race starts on the roads of a beautiful valley and ends with a 1.2-mile finish through the Cathedral Caverns cave!

REGISTRATION
There are no refunds, credits, or transfers to friends or family for entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants who are unable to attend the event. Any leftover shirts are donated. Start time is 8:00 a.m.
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be at RunningLane. RunningLane is located at 2407 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville, AL 35801. Date and time TBA.
AID STATIONS
Aid stations will be provided along the course with a variety of refreshments, including water and other beverages, pretzels, and more.
SHIRTS & AWARDS
The race shirt will be a tri-blend t-shirt (unisex sizing). Age group awards will be: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ for the half-marathon. All runners will receive a finisher medal.
CUTOFF
The race cutoff times for the half-marathon are 4 hours (18:20 minutes per mile/pace) and 2.5 hours (25:00 minutes per mile/pace) for the 10K.
WEATHER
Average temperatures at this time of year range from 40°F to 63°F.
POST RACE
After the race, each participant will receive a free pulled pork barbecue sandwich and chips. Other snack options are available for purchase inside the park gift store.
