Gulf State Park offers two great options for extended winter camping: Campground South and the New RV Resort. Whether you want a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature or a resort-style camping experience, you'll find the perfect place to settle in and enjoy everything the Alabama Gulf Coast offers.
Spend your winter exploring scenic trails, relaxing on beautiful beaches, and enjoying a welcoming community of fellow winter travelers. Whether you stay for one month or several, make Gulf State Park your home away from home!
2027–2028 Monthly Winter Camping Rates
Our Winter Monthly Camping Program offers special seasonal rates at both Campground South and the New RV Resort.

All rates are per month and exclude applicable taxes and fees. Monthly campsites are limited and subject to availability. Submitting an application does not guarantee a reservation.
How the Application Process Works
Because our Winter Monthly Camping Program is popular, guests must submit an application during the designated application period to be considered for a monthly campsite.
Application Period
- Applications Open: November 2, 2026, at 8:00 AM CST
- Applications Close: November 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST
- Applicant Contact Period: November 16–20, 2026
Steps to Apply
1. Submit Your Application
Complete the online Winter Monthly Camping Application during the designated application period. Guests may indicate their preferred camping location and requested months.
2. Application Review
Our reservation team will review applications and available inventory following the application deadline. Submitting an application does not guarantee a campsite or reservation.
3. Reservation Confirmation
Park reservation staff will contact guests during the week of November 16–20, 2026, with an update on their application status.
4. Confirm Your Stay
Guests approved for a monthly campsite will receive additional information regarding their assigned site, reservation dates, and required payment to secure their reservation.
