Lake Guntersville, Alabama's largest lake, contains 69,000 acres and stretches 75 miles from Nickajack Dam to Guntersville Dam. The lake's habitat includes Milfoil and Hydrilla Weed beds and is noted nationally for its largemouth bass.
Tournament Fishing

Historically, about two-thirds of the anglers on Lake Guntersville target largemouth bass. Although bream, bluegill, redear sunfish, longear sunfish, crappie, sauger, and catfish all attract their fair share of anglers.
