Explore monthly nature journaling at Chewacla State Park! The Nature Journaling Club will meet at the Nature Center Outdoor Classroom and is designed for participants to set aside a time once a month to journal, reflect, and document the changing seasons, while learning more about themselves and the park around them. Any experience level is welcome, whether you are brand-new or a seasoned pro! During each session, we’ll take a quick nature walk together for inspiration, complete an exercise to immerse ourselves in nature, and then begin our journaling. Journaling prompts will also be provided for participants if desired. This program is best suited for ages 12+, but all ages are welcome to attend.

Nature Journaling Club is a come-and-go monthly program—you are welcome to attend every month, infrequently, or just one time if you would like. There is a one-time $10 program and materials fee that includes your journal and all art supplies. For every Nature Journaling Club meeting after, this program is free with park admission.

We’ll be meeting at the Nature Center Outdoor Classroom, which is located in the second parking lot loop on your right after you pass the front gate house. Our Outdoor Classroom is right next to the new playground and restrooms.
