Weddings

Southern weddings tend to be large and the guest list can run in the hundreds with small armies of bridesmaids and groomsmen. However, we realize each bride and groom is different. Alabama State Parks staff members keep this in mind as they open up parks to weddings of all sizes. We want to be there for every part of your life and to let the wedding reflect the personalities of each couple. Regardless of your choice of facilities, we are confident we have something for everyone.

Casual – Weddings and receptions with jeans, shorts, summer dresses and flip flops can be found at any of our state park pavilions throughout the year in spring, summer and fall.

Semiformal – Decks, pavilions, banquet rooms, meeting rooms, Monte Sano’s Event Lodge, Cheaha’s wedding chapel or group lodge have been the setting for traditional Southern weddings and theme weddings.
