Unleash your creativity to make fairy houses at Chewacla!
Calling all Girl Scouts! Join us to learn about the magical world of fairy houses as we build structures out of sticks, leaves, acorn caps, and other materials found in nature! We’ll build Leave No Trace fairy houses to stay in the park and then explore the area with a digital microscope. We’ll also be providing fairy punch and fairy snacks for our participants as they are building their houses, and each participant will receive a Chewacla fairy house certificate! This program is best for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors, but all are welcome to attend!
We’ll be meeting at the Nature Center Outdoor Classroom, located in the second parking lot loop on the right next to the playground. Your gate fee gives you access to the entire park for the day. Park admission fees apply.
Park Admission fees are:
$5 per adult
$3 per child
$3 per senior
Military and overnight free
All ages are welcome, but ideal for ages 12 and under! Registration is preferred, but not required!
