Zip-Line Aerial Adventure

DESOTO STATE PARK HAS PARTNERED WITH SCREAMING EAGLE ZIP LINES AND AERIAL ADVENTURES TO OFFER A SKY TRAIL IN THE TREES. GET A BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF THE FOREST FLOOR BELOW AND OF THE UNUSUAL ROCK FORMATIONS.

Traverse, high in the air, over unique and fantastically shaped boulders and flowering flora characteristic only to DeSoto State Park. Enjoy six ziplines that range from 100 ft to 350 ft in length and six sky bridges that range from 50 ft to 150 ft in length. A spiral staircase tower begins the trek and allows for a bird’s eye view from up to 55 ft in the air. All adventure seekers will have great views and a fun and exhilarating aerial challenge.

All tours require a moderate amount of physical exertion. Participants are required to have full range of motion, average balance capabilities, use of both of their upper and lower extremities, be able to hear, see and understand verbal commands and hand signals, and must be capable of understanding, retaining and obeying verbal instructions. Participants must be able to climb stairs on towers up to 80′ high, hike unpaved trails, control the speed of their travel along the zip lines by grasping the cable.

 

Built & managed by American Adventure Park Systems and in conjunction with DeSoto State Park, this course is equipped with a closed belay system called Quick Trekker. Preventing accidental disconnections, the Quick Trekker System makes fun safer!

You are never disconnected from the patented safety system unless your feet are on the ground or in a safe area. During your tour, you’ll be accompanied by a guide the whole time to make your experience as safe and as fun as possible.
