Flight and a Kite - Chewacla Nature School

Learn all about flight and the science behind lift, force, thrust, and drag at this lesson of the Chewacla Nature School. After our lesson, we’ll apply what we learned by making our very own kites to fly! This lesson is ideal for ages 7 and up. Your gate fee gives you access to the entire park for the day. All adults must be accompanied by a child.

We’ll be meeting at the Nature Center Outdoor Classroom, which is located in the second parking lot loop on your right after you pass the front gate house. Our Outdoor Classroom is right next to the new playground and restrooms. $2 program fee per child.
