First Day Hike 2027: Morgan's Cove

Embark on a First Day Hike along scenic Morgan's Cove as we look for winter birds, discuss the history of the area, and explore the landscape.

This 3-mile out-and-back hike offers a chance to connect with nature while enjoying the crisp January air!

Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring water, sturdy boots or shoes, trekking poles, binoculars, and a trail snack. Participants will receive an official First Day Hike sticker.

We will be meeting at Morgan's Cove, which is located on AL Hwy 227.
