Whether you’re rolling in with an RV or pitching a tent, Buck’s Pocket offers a peaceful, well-equipped place to stay. The campground includes 23 RV campsites—13 with full hookups (water, power, and sewer), including 4 pull-through sites. The remaining 10 sites offer water and power only. Each RV site features a spacious 16' x 60' concrete camper pad, picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill.

For a more rustic experience, 11 primitive campsites are nestled in the quiet interior of the campground—ideal for tent campers and those looking to truly unplug and connect with nature.

Campground amenities include:

• One ADA-accessible campsite (no sewer hookup)
• High-speed Wi-Fi in the main campground area
• Clean bathhouse and separate ADA-compliant bathhouse
• Pavilion available for rent—great for group events
• Convenient dump station for RVs

If utilizing the OHV trail as a registered campground guest an additional fee of $5.00 is required.

Additional Reservations Information:

• Reservations may be made by calling the office at (256) 622-8400, by clicking here to make them online, or in person at the park office.
• Reservations must be secured with payment for the total stay, plus taxes, and will be charged when reservations are made.
• All charges are payable by cash or credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Checks will not be excepted.
• Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival, including those due to inclement weather, may not be eligible for a refund.
• A three (3) night minimum is required for all major holidays.
• The minimum age to rent a site is 18. A responsible adult must check in and remain on-site for the duration of the reservation.
• Guests arriving after hours may occupy an available site and must register at the park office by 10:00 a.m. the following day.
• Primitive tent sites are limited to one tent per site. One additional tent is allowed per RV and primitive sites for minors under the age of 18. A fee of $5.00 per night, plus tax, applies for the second tent.
• Limit eight persons per site and two vehicles. Guests with OHV's may have a maximum of two OHV's per site. Any additional vehicles may be parked in the OHV parking lot.
• Enable Wi-Fi calling upon arrival to use phone service through the park’s Wi-Fi. Most cell carriers do not have reliable coverage in the campground.
