Lake Guntersville State Park

Earth Day was started 53 years ago to raise awareness about protecting Earth's natural resources for future generations. This year, we will host our first Earth Day Celebration at Lake Guntersville State Park with a park wide clean up to pick up trash all along the banks of the TN River & throughout the park for our future generations to enjoy.  

Location: Meet at the Buckeye Pavilion located across from the Beach

Date: April 22nd, 2023

Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Lunch will be served from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Please come to the Buckeye Pavilion to sign-in and be assigned a clean up area! 

We need hikers, bikers, kayakers, and boaters to all come out and help clean the park! 

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS! 

We have grabbers, vests, bags, and drinks for everyone who attends!
