The Venomous Snakes of Alabama Program Presented by: Eric Rosenthal and Jay Eubanks. 

 

YES, there will be LIVE venomous snakes presented!

 

Eric is a Seasonal Interpretive Ranger at South Cumberland State Park, just west of Chattanooga, and is going into his senior year at The University of Tennessee at Martin. He is majoring in Natural Resources Management to pursue a career as a full time Park Ranger. Eric has extensive experience with handling and surveying snakes, venomous or not. 

 

Jay has over two decades of experience working with wildlife, primarily reptiles and amphibians, and nearly ten years of professional experience in science education. Jay has a degree in Biology from The University of Memphis. Jay began Green Snake Education to provide quality science-based educational programs focusing on herpetofauna and their habitats here in Alabama.

 

Where: YACC Pavilion (across from the park office/campground store)

When: August 14th at 1pm

Price: Regular park entrance fees required. $5 per person 12+, $2 ages 4-11 and seniors 62+
