Volunteers in Parks

Empty campsites at Cathedral Caverns State Park with picnic tables in the background.

While park staff perform many of the daily tasks and duties required to operate each of the state's 21 parks, volunteers are vital to its continued success. Thus, the Volunteers In Parks (VIP) program was established to enable individuals or groups to make a positive impact at their favorite park. We also appreciate organized volunteer activities within our parks, such as cleanups of trash and debris. If you or your organization is interested in this, please contact your local park directly
