The White Pelicans are back!
Join JWSP naturalist as you hike our Jimmy Sim's Birding Trail (1 of 280 Alabama Birding Trails) and learn all about the majestic White Pelican. We will hike to our birding blind in hopes to get a close look at some white pelicans. After the hike, we will drive to our Day Use Area to see another group of white pelicans and possibly some other waterfowl!
When: Saturday, November 26th | 1:00pm
Where: JWSP Boat Launch Parking Lot (Jimmy Sim's Birding Trail)
Miles Hiked: This hike will be around 1-mile in total (0.5-miles in, 0.5-miles out)
What to Bring: Proper hiking attire, hiking poles, water, camera, binoculars
