First Day Hike: An Adventure to the Waterfall

The first of the year is full of resolutions, whether it is learning a new skill or reading more books. At Chewacla State Park, you can start the year off right with one resolution: the resolution on your binoculars! Join us on the first day of 2024 and sharpen your eyes for a New Years Day Scavenger Hunt. The hunt will start at the nature center, located at the second parking loop in the park. From here, we will hike together to the waterfall, looking for golden items and their clues along the way. Find all the items, and be rewarded with a sweet treat. This hike is for all ages and is a great opportunity to start the year off right: in the great outdoors.
