Easter Bunny & Egg Hunt
We are so excited that this Spring kicks off our ability to once again enjoy public activities in the Park! Join us on April 16th, 2022 to take photos with the Easter Bunny from 10a - 1pm, hear a storyteller at 12p, and hunt for Easter eggs. We will have 3 categories of hunts at different times and sections, so parents can assist with kids in different age groups. In the event of a bad weather day we will have this event on Easter, April 17th, 2022; same time and locations. We welcome SOPA, Supporting Our Parks Alabama, who will be selling drinks and face paintings to raise money for trail maintenance equipment and many other well deserved needs in our parks. 10a-1p The Easter Bunny is making a guest appearance from 10a-1p for parents and children to take a photo. He will be breaking every 15 minutes for a 5 minute break.
12p Gather around the Buckeye and Easter Bunny to hear a storyteller read "The Velveteen Rabbit".
12:15p Older kids are encouraged to help hide eggs for younger hunts - meet at the Buckeye Pavilion to assist
12:30p Our first egg hunt kicks off for our 1yr-3yr old hunters
